Ship builds

This topic is about builds.

take any ship.
Explain which upgrades, modules and commander skills you take/buy.
For example do you take the C hull for the extra AA or the B hull to keep your main gun?
Are you going for the steering gear modification 1 to do the MC Hammer ;) or you going hulk :mrgreen: style with the damage control system modification 1.
But i wanna be surprised, preferably something totally new.
And of course also explain the playstyle you'll need to use to make the build work.

Hope to see some builds i didn't expect.

General builds:

Here are some general captain build for in world of warships these are for the beginning player once you get more experienced in the game you might change some around to nation specific ships or to your own playstyle.
In this basic guide you sometime have choices depending on what you think you will play like
With a little description behind I will show you what the skill does or you can check the captain skills post on the forum.



Battleships:
Tier 1:
• Basics of Survivability (used for taking less damage from fires etc.)
• Basic firing training ( faster reload of aa and secondary’s and more damage for aa)
Tier 2:
• Expert Marksman (this is a must have for better turret traverse)
• Fire prevention (lesser chance of being put on fire)
Tier 3:
• High alert ( reload time reduced for damage control party )
• Superintendent ( more consumables for example +1 extra heal )
Tier 4:
• Advanced firing training ( must have more range on aa and secondary’s )
• Survivability expert ( 400 more hp per ship tier)
Tier 5:
• Jack of all trades ( less cooldown for consumables )
• Manual control for secondary armament ( this skill is for the brawler bb with a secondary build it means your secondary’s will only fire once you manually select it with holding control and then clicking on the target this makes it a lot more accurate 15% less dispersion on anything below tier 7 tier 7 and higher will get -60% dispersion )





Cruiser:
Tier 1:
• Basics of Survivability (used for taking less damage from fires etc.)
• Basic firing training ( faster reload of aa and secondary’s and more damage for aa)
Tier 2:
• Expert Marksman (this is a must have for better turret traverse)
Tier 3:
• High alert ( reload time reduced for damage control party )
• Superintendent ( more consumables for example +1 extra plane or aa skill )
Tier 4:
• Advanced firing training (more range on aa and secondary’s ) for an “AA” build
• Demolition expert ( more chance of setting fire on enemy target )
Tier 5:
• Concealment expert ( -12% less detectability range)
• Preventive maintenance ( -50% chance of getting modules incapacitated )


Destroyers:
Tier 1:
• Basic firing training ( faster reload of aa and secondary’s and more damage for aa and in case of the dds faster reload of their main guns as well )
• Basics of Survivability (used for taking less damage from fires etc.)
Tier 2:
• torpedo armament expertise ( less reload time for torpedoes and torpedo planes )
• Last stand ( engine and rudder will still work but not as good =once shot out )
Tier 3:
• Torpedo acceleration ( makes torpedoes go +5 knots at the cost of -20% range )
• Superintendent ( more consumables for example +1 extra smoke )
• High alert ( reload time reduced for damage control party )
Tier 4:
• Survivability expert ( +400 more hp per ship tier )
• Demolition expert ( more chance of setting fire on enemy target )
• Advanced firing training (more range main guns aa and secondary’s)

Aircraft Carrier:
Tier 1:
• Expert rear gunner ( rear gunners are 10% more efficient )
• Basics of Survivability (used for taking less damage from fires etc.)
Tier 2:
• torpedo armament expertise ( less reload time for torpedoes and torpedo planes )
tier 3:
• Torpedo acceleration ( makes torpedoes go +5 knots at the cost of -20% range )
• Dogfighting expert ( makes your fighters stronger against higher tier planes)
Tier 4:
• Aircraft servicing expert ( less reload time of your planes to take off again)
Tier 5:
• Air Supremacy
